The United Stellar Alliance
EST. Stardate: 60931.35
This Alliance was formed to further develop the relationship between the United Federation of Planets and The Klingon Empire. The First step forward to this alliance occurred in the calendar year of 2293 at the Camp Khitomer Conference.
The second step that strengthened the relationship between these two governments was in the calendar year of 2344. When the Federation Starship, USS Enterprise/NCC- 1701C was nearly destroyed in defending the Klingon outpost Narendra III from a Romulan attack. The Klingon Government viewed this action as being a very honorable one.
The clenching step was when the Federation came to the aid of the Klingon Empire in defending their territory from a race known as the Cortils. The Cortils invaded the Klingon Empire in search of food. They are carnivorous and wanted to add the Klingons to their list of dietary supplements. After almost 7 months of defending themselves, the Klingon High Council requested assistance from the United Federation of Planets and Starfleet. The Federation did approve the assistance of Starfleet and it's resources to help in the Klingons efforts.
This event became known as the Cortil War Stardate: 58710.03 to 59050.20. The Combined efforts of the Klingon Empire and the Federation brought about the end of this savage war. Both Fleets were badly depleted but Starfleet was left in better condition then the Klingon fleet. The Federation helped rebuild the war-torn worlds of the Empire.
After this event it was felt by both governments that a formal alliance should be established.
The ORCA Universe Timeline
Beginning at the Next Generation 4th Year.
Stardate: 44001.4
The Borg obliterate the Starfleet Armada at Wolf 359 and continue to Sector 001 to assimilate Earth. Their Attempt fails with the destruction of the Borg vessel.
In this same year Admiral Acara and Captain T'Enori are born.
Stardate: 46421.05 (3 years later)
Starfleet assumes overseeing operation at Deep Space 9 and the stabile worm hole is discovered in the Bajoran sector, Denorios Belt. This made the Gamma Quadrant accessible and made Bajor a major point of interest.
(Of course this is now the sixth year of Next Gen and the First year of DS9)
Stardate: 46435.09 (2375)
Exploration of the Gamma Quadrant continues. Dominion Becomes Major Security Threat to Alpha Quadrant.
Stardate: 46705.24 (2376)
The planet Bajor is admitted into the United Federation of Planets.
Border skirmishes between the Cardassians and the Federation escalate. These skirmishes continue until both sides were on the brink of a full scale war. It was prevent by yet another peace treaty between the two governments. Signed on Stardate: 46758.07.
Stardate: 49423.37 (2388)
The invention of the Quantum Generator. Scientist from the Federation and the Gamma Quadrant developed the new drive by combining technologies. Implementation of the use of these drives followed 1 year later, after ways were found to strengthen ships hull structures to accommodate the higher velocities. In the same year the development of the first Mark Viper craft was made, along with the Bismark Class vessel. (more commonly referred to as a Quantum Attack Carrier)
Stardate: 50980.23 (2390)
The USS Federation while testing the quantum generators at higher speeds when they pushed the generators to warp factor 14.5. They found that this high rate of speed caused a folding effect on the space/time continuum. They were thrown ten days into the past before they were able to bring their speed down. From this time forward no starship is allowed to exceed warp factor 14 for any reason.
Stardate: 58710.03 - 59050.20 (2398 - 2400)
The Cortil War was fought between the Federation/Klingon fleets and the Cortil. The combined efforts of the Federation and Klingon Empire defeat the Cortils.
Stardate: 60931.35 (2402)
The establishment of the United Stellar Alliance.
Stardate: 61009.95 (2405-07)
Full Scale war with the Romulan Empire. Lasted two years and ended with yet another peace treaty.
